Violet Mae Delucia

Violet Mae DeLucia, 84, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully February 14, 2013 in her sleep. Violet was born on January 20, 1929 in Wyandotte, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Wolfe) Nixon. She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Haller and Larry DeLucia.
Violet is survived by her daughters, Mari (Ronald) Heffelfinger of Thompsonville and Connie Wehner of Charlevoix. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and her sister, Grace Frederico of Trenton. In addition to her husbands, Violet was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Beaumont and Della Krupp, a son in law, David Wehner, and a great grandson, Maximilian Carpenter.
A memorial celebration of Violet's life will take place in the spring. The family would ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Commission on Aging, 520 W. Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684, as they were so helpful to Violet.
