Virginia Elsie Fleming's Obituary
Virginia Elsie Fleming, 94, went to be with her Lord June 24, 2018. She slept away peacefully at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Virginia was born on June 4, 1924 in Detroit to Herman and Elsie Hirschelman. She married Gerald Fleming in 1947. Virginia enjoyed golf, bowling, bridge, traveling and being chaplin for Daisy Chain at the Elks. They raised two daughters in Grosse Pointe Woods; Cindy Hitesman and Debra Knopf. She has 7 grandchildren; Mandy Hitesman, Heidi (Jon) Mulder, Larry Hitesman and Heidi (Brian) Chandler, Robert Knopf, Katie (Max) Karker and Michael (Cody) Knopf; 6 great grandchildren Elyse, Olin and Onalee, Levi and Cole and Wyatt.
A memorial service will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on July 21, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Memorials may be given to the church.
