Virginia Gail Schuler, 79, of Traverse City, passed away April 1, 2021. She was born in Hamtramck, MI, April 30, 1941 to parents William and Hattie Jendryka.
Virginia married her late husband Donald Schuler in 1958, following her graduation from Pershing High School. The couple had a loving relationship until Donald's passing in 1990. She remained a widow thereafter.
She was a very loving mother, wife and grandmother, and her laugh was contagious. Virginia enjoyed being involved in many activities such as pickle ball, water aerobics, card games, puzzles, church groups, family BBQs and holidays-just to name a few.
Her faith in God was unshakable. She will be remembered as a woman who loved to laugh, yet was tough as nails. She truly was one of a kind and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Bradford Schuler; sister Joyce Famie; in-laws Rick and Sue Schuler; niece-in-law Pam Schuler; grandchildren Thomas, Onya, Christopher and Stephanie Schuler and Dennis Lennex II; great-grandchildren Quinn Schuler, Cameron Brock, Logan Young, and Violet and Lilyona Maguire.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date, which family and friends will be notified.
