Wallace John Sikorski, 83, of Lake Ann passed away September 23, 2021 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Wallace, better known as Wally or Bud, was born on January 23, 1938 in Empire to the late Clarence Wallace and Dorothy (Pritz) Sikorski.
Wally started his career at Chris-Craft building boats. Here he made many life long friends. He then went on to be a machinist at Cone Drive Gear and retired after 40 + years. In his free time he enjoyed boating and sailing where he earned the nickname Charlie. He loved to fish, hunt and had an extensive gun collection. He was a member of the Elks Club and was a proud 32nd Degree Mason with the Masonic Lodge in Honor #444.
Wally is survived by his daughter Pamella (Tom Walczak) Petroelje of Traverse City and son Kelly (Sharon) Sikorski of Versales, KY and their mom Joan Sikorski; grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Kelsey, Alexis (Carson), Jacob and James; great grandchildren Maya, Jupiter, Evelyn and Octavius; brother Clarence (Marlene) Sikorski of Pinckney and sister Dolores (Gene) Coleman of Virginia.
The memorial service will be held at the Masonic Lodge in Honor on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon then burial at the Homestead Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be directed to Munson Hospice or to the Masonic Lodge #444.
