Obituary

Wanda (Hunt) Muse passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 after nearly 95 years of an eventful life. Wanda was born in Buckley to Dr. David Hunt and Natalie (Henschell) Hunt on July 18th. She led a life where family and friends were her center. A conversation with Wanda was about you, what was happening in your life as well as shared interests involving gardening, food, business, politics or the birds out the window at her cottage on Green Lake. She was always aware of what the family was doing and could tell you the name of every grandchild or the youngest great great niece. During her long life she raised her family, ran businesses, invested in real estate, traveled and enjoyed friends. She could have a simple lunch of fruit and cheese or entertain family and friends with an elegant appointed dinner. In her last years, she made her home in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida and her cottage on Green Lake in Interlochen. She will be missed more than she could imagine.
Wanda is survived by her brother Paul (Bernice)Hunt, her dear friend and cousin, Ruth Webster, her children; Donald Gondzar of Buckley, Deborah Vogel of Florida, Gregory Boyle of Florida and Wilbur (Trudy) Raab of Gun Lake. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Scott (Julie) Gondzar, Gregory Thompson, Dana Thompson, Reginald (Sondra) Raab, Shelly (Dave) Roberts, Sharla (Mitch) Comstock and nine great grandchildren, nephews and nieces; Dale (Janice) Hunt, Charlene (Fred) Hunt and Robert (Jean) Hunt as well as many great and great great nephews and nieces and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, nephew David H. Hunt and many dear family members and friends.
A funeral service to honor Wanda's life will take place Monday July 2, 2018 at the Grawn United Methodist Church at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Sean Barton will officiate. She will be laid to rest near her parents at Cornell Cemetery in Buckley.
