Warren Richard Aylsworth

Empire - Warren Richard Aylsworth, 62, of Maple City, passed away February 25, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Warren was born on November 12, 1954 in Flat Rock, MI to Glenn Aylsworth and Juanita Shanks.

On October 31, 1991, Warren married the love of his life Janet Marie Schopieray.

Warren was an avid deer and mushroom hunter. He owned and operated his own deer processing company. In his spare time he loved to invent new recipes and was a wonderful cook. He also liked to build things and take care of his old Chevy Truck, which was his favorite toy. Warren had a great sense of humor and could brighten anyone's day. He was the best ghost story teller around a camp fire and would most honestly say that deer season was probably his favorite holiday. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Warren is survived by his wife Janet, his daughter Danielle (Zach) Mullen, son Warren (Whitney) Aylsworth; grandchildren Warren III, Grant, Charlotte, and Chief; and brother Tom Aylsworth as well as his mother and father and step-mother Jan.

Warren was preceded in death by his siblings Gladys Hentchel and Greg Aylsworth.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 4-7pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating Warren's life will be held on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 11:00am also at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visiting one hour prior.

Graveside services will take place in the spring at Maple Grove Empire Cemetery.
