Welden Wallace Camp, 17, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at his home. Welden was born on June 30, 2004 in Naperville, Illinois to Christopher and Andrea (Homeister) Camp. He had just finished his high school junior year. Welden loved classic cars and being outside. He enjoyed building things and recently developed a passion for cooking. Above all, he loved spending time with his brothers, cousins, family and friends.

Welden is survived by his loving parents, Christopher and Andrea Camp, two brothers; Coleman Camp and August Camp. Also surviving are his grandparents, Eugene and Joan Homeister, aunts and uncles, Eric (Carol) Homeister, Jonathan (Michelle) Homeister, Cynthia (Earle) Moore and William (Gretchen) Camp, as well as many cousins and a girlfriend, Lauren Link.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Oscar and Dorothy Camp.

Friends are welcome to visit with Welden's family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684.

A Funeral Service honoring Welden will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Traverse Bay United Methodist Church, 1200 Ramsdell St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. Rev. Matthew Chapman will officiate.
