TRAVERSE CITY – Whitney-Glee Lorraine Jameson, age 29, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
Whitney was born on February 26, 1988, in Traverse City, MI to Jackie Jameson and Jon Conant. Whitney was raised in Traverse City and attended Courtade Elementary School. Whitney also attended the East Junior High School, spent 2 years at the House of Hope and graduated from the Hope Academy. Whitney attended the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, where she majored in singing completing the Forerunner Music Academy program. Shortly after, Whitney moved back to Traverse City where she gave birth to her son Tyler and later a daughter Ava.
Whitney absolutely loved to sing and attended the Blue Lakes Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lakes, MI. She also loved; horseback riding, writing poetry, loved to draw, jewelry making, arts and crafts, and making chocolate chip cookies. Whitney had a compassionate loving heart and a kind spirit for animals.
Whitney is survived by her parents; Jackie (David) Jameson, Jon (Pam) Conant, siblings; Ben (Danielle) Jameson, Asia Brewer, Bree Conant, Kamden McCauley, Hannah McCauley, Amber Hejl, son Tyler Conant and daughter Ava, grandparents; David (Marcia) Perosino, Dennis (Judy) Conant, and Marleen Milliman. Whitney is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Whitney's life will take place on Sunday, June 11th, 2017 at the Grand Traverse House of Prayer at 1:00 pm where a time to gather will take place beginning at 12:15 pm. There will be a light lunch, refreshments and sharing immediately following the service at the House of Prayer where all are welcome. Please be advised that additional parking will be available in the Colonial Plaza parking lot directly to the west of the Grand Traverse House of Prayer.
