Wilford Blaine Kellum, 74, joined his eternal family early Sunday morning, august 7, 2016. Passing away peacefully at home with his loving wife at his side.
Blaine was born on August 18, 1941 to parents Edward Ford and Wilma (Gleason) Kellum in Munising, MI.
The most of his childhood was spent in Mio and then Traverse City, graduating form Traverse City Central High School and later from Lawrence Institute of Technology with a BA in Architecture.
Blaine worked for a time for Gourdie Fraser and then retired as Sargent First Class from the United States Army having been with the Army Rifle Team and then in Logistics.
Blaine was most loving of his family and enjoyed the shooting sports-camping-travel-spending time with his many friends and working in his house and yards.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of 48 years-his aunt Romayne-and many cousins in Michigan and Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents-sister Glee-and many aunts uncles and cousins.
The family sends very special thank you's to Dr. Robert Kuhn and Dr. Vincent Mack for their wonderfully compassionate care during the past troubling three years.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11am with visitation during the previous hour. Pastor Dale Ostema will officiate. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
