Bill Fischer, 76 of Traverse City MI, passed on January 3, 2016. Cherished and loving husband of Ruthann Fischer; Precious and much loved Father of Lisa Wheatley (Tim), Greg Fischer (Jana), Michelle Griffin (Jim) and Monica Daniels (David); Proud and devoted grandfather of 10 grandchildren; Beloved son of the late Joseph and Catherine Fischer; Dear brother of late Joseph, late John, sister Rosemary McKay and the late Thomas; Fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many; He will be dearly missed, and forever in our hearts.
Friends are welcome to visit Bill's family on Thursday, January 7, 4 to 8 p.m. at the Reynold-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. A Mass of Christian Burial, honoring Bill will take place on Friday, January 8, 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at St Francis Catholic Church, 1025 S. Union Street, Traverse City. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Stachnik will officiate.
