William Charles Carsten,69 of Traverse City passed away at home on March 13th,2024.
Bill was born to Ruth (Dewitt) and William J. Carsten on June 12th, 1954.
Bill was a jack of all trades. He worked a handful of different jobs. In his early life he worked for
several years on oil rigs in South Dakota. He then became a welder. He later started his own
handy man business. He often could be found tinkering on cars.
Bill is survived by his 7 children, William Carsten, Randal Carsten, Melissa (John) Ockert,
Matthew (Laura) Bixby, Stephanie Carsten, Jeremy Carsten and Joesph Carsten.
15 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. His sister Deborah Kulawiak.
He was preceded in death by his father William, his mother Ruth, his step father Joesph
Rodriguez and niece Tara Kulawiak.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 20th starting at 10:00am with a service @
