William "Bill Dean

Bill Dean, 80, of Maple City and Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024 at Medilodge in Suttons Bay.

Bill was born on May 5, 1944 in Hinsdale, Illinois to the late Howard and Elizabeth (Brown) Dean.

Bill graduated from Hinsdale Central High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Montana.

While working in the family business, Dean Foods, he met Doreen Durley. Shortly after meeting, they fell in love and united in marriage on November 30, 1974.

Bill retired from Dean Foods as a sales manager. In his free time, he enjoyed bird hunting, driving his corvette and volunteering. He was an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society in Florida and Ducks Unlimited. He also enjoyed the simple things in life, like a good cold beer with family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Howard.

Bill is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Doreen; daughters Allison Dean (Todd Jandreski) and Melissa (Christopher) Boniface; grandchildren William and Katherine Boniface; brother Greg (Pam) Dean and sister-in-law Diane Dean.

The memorial service will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 3 pm at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. 5
