Obituary

William (Bill) Denoyer passed away at Munson Hospital on Dec. 6th at the age of 83. He was
Born in Detroit to Roy and Dorothy Denoyer. The family soon moved back to Traverse City
where he attended St. Francis School for 12 years and went on to graduate from Aquinas
College with a degree in Business. There he met and married his wife of 62 years, Therese
(Terri) Geoghan. After several years with Gerber Baby Foods in Freemont and Reedsburg,
Wisconsin, they returned to Traverse City and took over Denoyer Bros. Moving and Storage
with his brother Chuck.

He is survived by his wife Terri, and 6 children, Kelly (Chuck) Russell, Michelle (Gene
Closson) Denoyer, Steve (Diane) Denoyer, Dan Denoyer, Kim (Keith Ostrowski) Denoyer, and
Jenna (Robert) Walker. 13 Grands, Rachael Overmire, Nathan Overmire, Carly (Joe Wagner) Overmire,
Jordan (Isabella) Russell, Austin Russell, Cole (Hanna) Russell, Samantha (Matt Grimes) Denoyer,
Sydney (Bryon) Guerin, Brody Carpenter, Kiptyn Ostrowski, Emersyn Ostrowski, Landon
Walker, Trace Walker. 3 Great Grands, Brynlee and Bode Latta, and Adaline Russell. He also leaves a brother Chuck (Margie) Denoyer and a sister Debra Coyne. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Jim, Scott, and Jeff.

Bill enjoyed hunting, golf (sort of), remodeling every home he lived in, was an avid reader and
liked sports, especially MSU. His children describe him as the family anchor, had a good
sense of humor and work ethic. He loved to say, "I'm not sleeping, just resting my eyes".

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St, Patrick's Church in Traverse City on Monday, Dec.
15thy at 11 AM. Visitation with family at 10, luncheon to follow.
