William "Bill" S. Dunaske, 68 of Lake Ann, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at Munson Medical Center.
Bill was born on February 18, 1944 in Monroe, Louisiana to the Jack and Angela (Mackoviak) Dunaske. He married Linda Csiki on April 3, 1970 in Mt. Morris Michigan. Together they lovingly raised their sons Bill and Mike.
Bill honorably served our Country in the United States Army. After his time in the service he became a Michigan State Trooper. Bill retired from the Traverse City Post in 1995.
Bill enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mushrooming. Bill also liked to teach others the skill of tying flies.
Bill will be fondly remembered as a man of integrity, honesty and his deep love for the Lord Jesus. He was a devoted husband and father and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Bill is his wife Linda, sons, Bill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Mike of East Bay Township, granddaughter Ameila, his mother Angela of Traverse City, siblings, Tony Dunaske of Petoskey, Dorothy (Keith) Morgan of Northville, Alicia Dunaske of Traverse City, Jon (Julie) Dunaske of Traverse City, and many other loving family members and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his father Jack.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will take place at 11am on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at West Side Community Church where Bill was a member. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to West Side Community Church. Please sign Bill's online guestbook at www.reynolds-jonkhoff.com .
