William 'Bill' Mcgee

TRAVERSE CITY — William Francis "Bill" McGee, 82, of Traverse City, was received into the arms of God on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at home, with his loving wife by his side, and surrounded by his family.Dad touched the lives of many. Please help us celebrate Dad's exemplary life by joining us for an Irish Wake that is being held at the family home, 513 Sixth Street, today, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., ending at midnight with a rosary recitation. Friends, food and spirits are welcomed. Friends are also welcomed to visit with the family at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church - Sentential Hall on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a wake service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Anthony Citro presiding. A complete obituary will be in Thursday's edition of the Traverse City Record-Eagle. Arrangements were made with the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home of Traverse City.
