Obituary

Yudell Bush, 98, of Buckley died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her home near Buckley.

Yudell was born on Monday, March 02, 1914 in Grant Township. Her parents were Blanche (Lemcool) and Lawrence Rogers. She attended Buckley schools and was a member of the 1932 graduating class.

Yudell entered into marriage with Basil C. Bush on Saturday, April 18, 1936 at her parent's home in Grant Township. She was the hard working farmer's wife until 1964 when they moved to Saginaw. Yudell was an assistant to a physical therapist in the Saginaw School System. After retiring they moved back to Grant Township. She loved to garden and provided floral arrangements for the Grant United Methodist Church, where she has been an active long time member. Yudell was a voracious reader, enjoyed watching the birds around her home and was an excellent baker, earning the nickname of 'Aunt Cookie' to some of her nieces and nephews. Among many things, Yudell will be especially remembered for her ability to see the good in everybody.

Surviving Yudell are her children: Nancy Jackson (Don Clutsam) of Canmore, Alberta, Canada, Jack Bush of Fallbrook, CA, Mary Ann Bush of Buckley; 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Glenn Rogers of Buckley and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Yudell in death was her husband, Basil on February 15, 2000, her baby son Larry Russell Bush, a brother Ivan Rogers, her sisters Edith Brigham, Nadine Thompson and Maxine Hall.
